Let's Try That Again - Pokémon: Yellow Version
This is a big one for us for multiple reasons. For starters, it's perhaps our most requested Let's Play ever with many people asking us to play some sort of Pokémon game. Second, it's Kyle's first Let's Play. Yep, Kyle's finally stepping behind the wheel. It's also set to be perhaps our longest yet so sit back, relax and enjoy us play one of the original Pokémon classics!
Yep, we're finally doing our first Pokémon Let's Play. Many people have requested we do a Pokémon game and who are we to deny what the people want? Also, Kyle really wanted to do a Let's Play now that he got a new computer so hey, kill two birds with one stone. Now, we're still in the process of recording these videos so I can't give you a runtime like Don did for Mega Man X3. Just know that it's going to be long.
You can catch the first video below and if you click that thumbnail up there, it'll take you to the playlist where I've uploaded the first four videos. Enjoy.

The Disc Locked Content (DLC) Dilemma
There is a pretty big problem in today's generation of games that I feel people aren't making an effort to stop. With increasing support for the digital market, some developers take advantage of this and have figured out ways to extort more money from their consumers. This includes a recent trend of online passes that locks out online multiplayer modes from being available unless you have a one time use code that comes with a brand new retail copy of the game. Which means, if you bought the game used, rented the game, or maybe borrow the game from a friend, you can not play online. If you want to play online in those cases, you have to purchase an online pass which will usually run you for about $5 extra. So, the $5 you typically might save when buying the game used just goes back to the online pass. Some games have a online trial period that will let you play for a certain amount of time like Mortal Kombat. Some other games like Battlefield 3, you're SOL after downloading several gigabytes worth of updates (which is another problem with this generation's games). However, I don't want to get into any of that right now. I want to talk about one of the worst offenders in recent memory when it comes to so-called downloadable content, that culprit being Capcpom.

Let's Try That Again - Mega Man X3
Don returns to play Mega Man X3 which has better Mavericks than the previous installment but no Street Fighter moves. X and Zero now face a new threat, Dr. Doppler. Hear us explain multiple times what the Doppler effect is and watch X become a Jedi in this LTTA.
It's about time we got this up, right? Well, the videos were kind of uploaded out of order because some of them decided they didn't want to process so I had to spend a couple more hours reuploading them. My internet went out for a bit so that only added to the problem. Anyway, they're all up now and you can watch it all right here, right now, in order. Runtime: 3:17:00.
That should be it for what we got in the pipeline. Don't want to wait whole months before we upload these videos? Catch us live on our stream as Kyle plays Pokemon - Yellow Version.
As for the next Mega Man game we'll be playing... Be prepared to JUMP JUMP and SLIDE SLIDE.
Pokémon Remake: Spearow
To me, Spearow has always come off as Pidgey's angry cousin...I mean, they have a similar body structure, are roughly the same size, and of course, they're both birds
I really like Spearow, but I just love Pidgey so much more that this guy never really made it on my team...If I ever switched him onto my team, it was only to evolve him, which is unfortunate, I never really gave him a chance, but like I said, it's a cool Pokémon...I do however, think that his Model is weird in all of the 3D games...it's head always looked a little off to me...

VGM of the week #18
Huh? What? It's my turn again?
Um, here you go. It's from Spirit Tracks' climax boss. Not the big boss, that's a different thing.
So I'll just leave this here and be on my way.
