Let's Try That Again - Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game

We do a love a good beat-em-up around here and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game is one of the best. Based on the hit comic books and the cult classic movie, Matt and Carissa take on Ramona's 7 evil-exes in this 16-bit, old-school style beat-em-up. It's time to hit love where it hurts but remember, don't eat the bread. It makes you fat.




While we wait for Don to finish editing Mega Man X4, here's another Let's Try That Again we had waiting in the wings. We love beat-em-ups here at Adamant Ditto and we love Scott Pilgrim so why not play the game? Well, me and Carissa did just that. It's unfortunate this game doesn't have online, would have been great to play with four people. Oh well, there's fun times to be had regardless.

Let's Try That Again - Venom/Spider-Man: Separation Anxiety (Live)

Part of our April Fool's 2012 Live Stream, basically, we played two games that we think are not so good, the second of which being Venom/Spider-Man: Separation Anxiety for the SNES. Ricky and Matt plow through one of the most boring and monotonous beat-em-ups ever, all while showing off their amazing butts and dance moves.





Although there is an occasional slow moment or two in this one, I think it was ultimately a lot of fun. There were some good laughs, mostly at how ridiculous the game is. Overall, even though I was late a half hour, I think our first April Fool's Day live stream went really well and we got some pretty funny Let's Plays out of it. So thanks to everybody who showed up and making it possible.

Let's Try That Again - Sonic R (Live)

Part of our April Fool's 2012 Live Stream, basically, we played two games that we think are not so good, the first of which being Sonic R. So come back to the city with us to feel the sunshine while we go back in time with this super sonic racing experience. If we can work it out, it's sure to be quite an experience.





On the off chance you missed our April Fool's Day Live Stream Event, don't worry, we've got your back. The first half of the stream involved us playing the ever exciting Sonic R for the Sega Saturn (though I played on the Sonic Gems Collection.) The music's a bit loud because I'm a moron and didn't realize just how loud the recording was picking it up but you can still hear us.

Let's Try That Again - Final Fight

Matt and Don are back with another Beat-em-up, this time it's the original Final Fight for the arcade. Now, this one was filmed pretty late at night, which is why there's only four of us. But hey, we can't deny you another beat-em-up Adamant Ditto style. So sit back and watch us take on Damnd, Poison, Abigail and the rest of Metro City's criminal element mayor style.




Beat-em-ups are almost always a fun way to kill some time with a buddy which is why we enjoy doing them here at Adamant Ditto. Good laughs are had when two or more of us take the streets and just start wailing on dudes. While they never seem to have great lasting appeal, which is why you don't see many these days, they're still fun while they last and some of the best multiplayer experiences around. I look forward to playing more for the channel and I especially look forward to that new Double Dragon game. Can't wait to resume the role of Bimmy Lee and kick some ass.

Let's Try That Again - Pokémon: Yellow Version

This is a big one for us for multiple reasons. For starters, it's perhaps our most requested Let's Play ever with many people asking us to play some sort of Pokémon game. Second, it's Kyle's first Let's Play. Yep, Kyle's finally stepping behind the wheel. It's also set to be perhaps our longest yet so sit back, relax and enjoy us play one of the original Pokémon classics!




Yep, we're finally doing our first Pokémon Let's Play. Many people have requested we do a Pokémon game and who are we to deny what the people want? Also, Kyle really wanted to do a Let's Play now that he got a new computer so hey, kill two birds with one stone. Now, we're still in the process of recording these videos so I can't give you a runtime like Don did for Mega Man X3. Just know that it's going to be long.

LTTA: Sonic the Hedgehog

By now, you're all aware that we end up with a fair share of Let's Try That Agains we never actually plan like Kirby's Dream Land 3 and The Great Circus Mystery. Well, here's another one. Basically, I was streaming one night, beat Sonic 1 and in the process, we had a lot of great conversations and I decided I was going to put it up. Still, don't be surprised when we talk more about Zelda, Mario and cartoons than we do Sonic the Hedgehog.

LTTA: Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest

I meant to post this yesterday but forgot so instead I'm just going to post over myself. Joy.

So anyway, here's our latest Let's Try That Again. This time it's of perhaps the best platformer on the Super Nintendo, Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. We've wanted to do this one for a long time and even attempted in our infancy but due to technical problems (always) it never worked out. But we finally got around to it. YAY! We brought our good buddy David along for the ride too since he knows a lot more about this game than most of us. We like to think it came out pretty well.

I'm uploading two videos a day because it's a little bit longer than our average LP (about five hours I'd say) so only the first four are up. You can check out the first part below and a link to the playlist below that.

LTTA - Sonic 3 & Knuckles

So hey, because apparently January is Sonic month, we decided to do Sonic 3 & Knuckles! Yes, Ricky relives one of his favorite games of all time as we all watch on in awe, including our special guest David from our Mega Man 3 Let's Play. It's sure to be a good time!

LTTA: Sonic Generations (Blind)

After finally getting Sonic Generations this past Christmas, I decided to do a blind Let's Play of it in honor of my Sonic reviews I've been doing. It was a lot of fun and a great game. There are a few technical problems because hey, what LTTA is complete without them? But we made it through and it was a lot of fun.

Here's a Let's Play that was never planned. Actually, I was trying to stream my own Let's Play but due to some technical difficulties, Ricky had to take over and play something. He landed on Sonic the Hedgehog 2. What we got was a pretty funny LTTA out of it. Though if you expect us to get all the Emeralds and not use Cheats and Saves, you're in the wrong place.

LTTA: Astro Boy: Omega Factor

Happy Holidays, folks. Sorry we've been kind of slow lately. It's the holiday season, everybody's busy with their families or shopping or working, not a lot of time to post stuff. Plus, the video game world has been kind of slow recently. So, sorry about that. We probably won't post anything tomorrow except Kyle does still plan to post the VGM of the Week so look forward to that.

For now though, I have begun finally uploading our Astro Boy: Omega Factor Let's Play. This is an interesting one because on one side, Ricky is very informative about the history of Astro Boy and all that stuff. On the other side, we can get rather boring and the technical aspects are kind of garbage, mostly the audio. Sorry about that. Regardless, the first four videos are up. LTTA - Mega Man X

Right after Don finished his Aladdin Let's Play, Ricky jumped in and played Mega Man X! Yes, Adamant Ditto was super productive that night and filmed two Let's Plays in just a few hours. Yeah, we're awesome.

This is the first Mega Man LTTA we've done that wasn't one of the classic series and who knows if we'll do anymore but there's a lot of laughs throughout. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

LTTA: Kirby's Dream Land 3 Parts 13 & 14

And with this, children, our visit to Dream Land is concluded. Thanks for stickin' with us. It was a fun, if not totally frustrating, trip and it just goes to prove that every game we Let's Play turns out to be worse than we remember.


Part 14 is over an hour long because Don recorded it after I had some technical problems and I guess editing isn't something he enjoys doing. So be sure to take lots of breaks when watching that one.

Another day, another set of Kirby's Dream Land 3 videos. These don't seem to be very popular. We haven't gotten very many comments. What's up with that? Do you not like this game? Are we not funny enough for you? I can't blame you either way but it'd be nice to know.

Another day, another set of Kirby's Dream Land 3 videos. Fun times were had by all. Part 8 is shorter than the others because I was going for two stages per video, but the second stage that would have been in that video takes us sooo long, it had to be it's own video.

Well, with Paper Mario out of the way, guess it was time for us to move on. Actually, we recorded this one during Paper Mario in anticipation of Kirby's Return to Dreamland. It just sort of happened, really. But it was still pretty fun and a little frustrating.
